Many years ago, probably late 70's, I was walking up Hollinwood Avenue with Mum. We were just going past Martin's Bakery, walking side by side talking when suddenly I realised she wasn't there. I turned to see her dodging cars in the middle of the road, like a stuntwoman! Turns out there was this tiny little dog on the pavement about 100 metres ahead!! Mum's phobia of dogs was quite extreme which is incredible since we had two massive dogs over the years! :)

It was interesting that she lost her fear of dogs in the last years of her life due to the Alzheimers.
